People don't often think ballparks have historical significance but Fenway Park certainly does. I've been to more games than I can count but had to opt for Green Monster seats just once to say that I've sat up there. I sat here last year when ticket prices took a bit of a dip after a disappointing season. The tickets were still $150 per person. The view is better than the bleachers but it didn't feel all that different. The main factor is the tables where you can eat on or read your program. But the downside is not being able to see the old time scoreboard or the actual wall for that matter. The fans were great. There were four rows of seats and you've got plenty of leg space.

I would sit here again but now that I've done it, I have peace of mind. There is nothing quiet like signing 'Sweet Caroline' with thousands of other fans sitting in the Grandstand. GO SOX!

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from Green Monster 3, here is a Youtube video shot from there following a Red Sox game at Fenway Park.
