My wife and I sat here last season for the Sunday game vs. the New York Mets, my team, and our seats were literally at the deepest part of the outfield so we were more than 400 feet from home plate which made seeing the infield extremely difficult for us. The seats are bleachers which are the most uncomfortable seats to sit on but at least they had backs to them. If you've ever been to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, you know that those bleacher seats don't have backs to them and combine that with cold weather and you've got yourself a bad experience.
They also cram a good about of fans into each row but the closer you sit to row 2, the fewer fans there will be per row and the closer you'll be to the outfield fence which isn't very high at all.

I love everything about Coors Field, with the RockPile and upper level seats, they make it very affordable to bring the entire family to a game and their division is extremely competitive with the exception of the Padres.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 158, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Rockies game at Coors Field.
