146 sits extremely close to the field since the foul territory is so small in deep left field. Tickets here can be found for cheap, often at the box office just before the game. The Rockies don't ever perform too hot in terms of attendance unless they put together a team like the 2007 team that went to the World series vs. the Red Sox.
I found our section to be sparse in attendance even, we could pretty much sit where we wanted but we stuck with our seats in row 17. The usher didn't seem to be too interested in checking tickets.

Coors field is one of my favorite ballparks I've been to. I've also been to Wrigley Field, Comerica Park and U.S. Cellular Field. The architecture really fits in with the neighborhood's mix of old brick warehouses and new buildings. This entire area was desolate before the Rockies moved in from Mile High Stadium. Breckenridge BrewPub is a great spot to hit before or after the game takes place. Try to plan a Rockies game during the fall when a Broncos game is also going on.
