We were situated just behind the Baseline Box seats in row F. About 15 rows from the field if I had to guess. There isn't one baseball fan that would dislike these seats. It sits just past 3rd base where the dirt meets the grass. The Dodgers dugout is in front of you too. Was super exciting when players were racing home from third, everyone stood up to see what would happen. The Dodgers beat the Padres pretty bad that night. It was a packed house as usual.
If you've never been to Dodger Stadium, it's not exactly one of those ballparks you can skip. It's got that old timey feel like Wrigley Field and Fenway Park but lacks the Hollywood flair you would expect at a stadium in LA. The only memorabilia on the concourse walls are on the club levels. Throughout the stadium grounds you'll find neat little monuments like life-size bobbleheads, giant retired numbers of old Dodgers players, large 'LA' sculptures. They play Vin Scully's live game broadcast in the concourses during the game; he's the legendary voice of the Dodgers: 50 years plus!

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 27, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Dodgers/Washington Nationals game at Dodger Stadium.
