Have been to 5-10 Mets games over the years since the Inaugural season at Citi Field. These were the best seats I have had to date. I was fortunate enough to get them for cheap at the end of last season vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. Face value for them were $60, even more for the Subway Series. The Mets organization uses a dynamic pricing model so the high demand tickets are always going to be more expensive. The seats immediately to the right of section 125 are the "Metro Boxes" where fans get access to various club areas and waiters to wait on them. It looked overrated and the view is just as good from here. Save yourself the money. And also keep in mind that rows A thru E are the first few rows. Row 1 is actually the sixth or so row.

125 is the perfect place to stand to get autographs from the visiting team before the game. You have to be resourceful with your time and get there early since gates only open 90 minutes before first pitch. After a large crowd gets built up around you, you don't have much of a shot of getting any signatures.

P.s. - Active military and people with birthdays get free tickets for that day's game as long as you can provide proof. And if you bank with Citi or have a Citi credit card, you're eligible for discounts all over the ballpark. The organization doesn't really advertise this stuff.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 125, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a college baseball game at Citi Field.
