Our seats in section 126 were great! We had a great view of both scoreboards and these were some of the best seats I have had at a ballgame. At Yankee Stadium, we have to settle for the upper deck. At Citi Field, we can afford the lower level tickets but it's cool to live in a city with two stadiums to visit when either team is out of town. We walked around most of the stadium and saw excellent food choices at reasonable prices. Sausage Premio didn't have a huge selection of Sausages (only Italian, I think) but the stands that carry Nathan's Hot Dogs are the best and have the most diverse menu.

Pretty good seats for a Mets game. Had a lot of foul balls fly towards us during batting practice and also during the game. Fans were great, had a lot of good conversations with fans seated near us who knew the team in and out. Being nudged between the infield and outfield really pays off once the game begins.
Any seat will do, even walking down from the concourse, the fans in the last row could see everything.

Be very selective with where you purchase your seats because there are obstructions throughout the park, especially in the 500s on the Promenade level. The railing is pretty intrusive on your view up there.
The Mets experience is still an expensive one but is much more fan friendly and cheaper than Yankees games. But if you're visiting New York, try to hit both at the same time.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 126, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets game at Citi Field.
