Had tickets for section 315, row 4, seats 5 and 6. The Yankees were playing the Detroit Tigers that day (late April 2012). Sabathia was facing off against Alex Scherzer if I recall correctly so we saw a great game that the Yankees went on to win pretty handily.

There won't be too many Yankee fans that will be upset with seats here. There was a small roll up beer stand outside of this section that serves Leinenkugel's and Blue Moon (for a steep price). Beers of the World is the stand in the stadium with the largest selection of beer and it's scattered all around the stadium in various spots, just keep an eye out for it.
Our experience in 315 was a good one. Unlike the seats in the Grandstand, the Terrace seats allow fans to feel closer to the field and our seats were just two sections removed from the expensive Jim Beam Suites. (A very overrated area of the ballpark). No important amenities for those seats aside from private restrooms.

We were able to find cheap parking at a surface lot along Jerome Avenue before the game. As long as you don't mind walking a half mile or so, there are plenty of other cheap parking options as well. Of course, I would imagine the vast majority of fan take the Subways to the stadium on gameday.
