Loved sitting behind our favorite left fielder in the game; Ryan Braun. We're Brewers fans transplanted in Pittsburgh but I still make it to plenty of Pirates games, even when the Brewers aren't in town.
If you don't mind bleacher seats, 136 would be a good fit. It's so much better than sitting on the grandstand level for games and you can often find these seats for $10-$15 per ticket which isn't bad considering how close you'll be to the field. The seats are packed together a little tightly if the row fills up but other than that, I like the bleachers.

I wouldn't compare PNC Park's bleachers to whatever bleachers you've sat in at some of these other ballparks. The bleachers are often where the fans with the foulest language and most beers sit but these bleachers are nothing but fan friendly. So you can have peace of mind in this section if you just want cheap seats for the family to sit in.

Speaking of beer, if you like to try local beers, try Iron City or Yuengling when you visit PNC Park. You'll pay good money for them but I promise you won't be disappointed.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 136, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Pirates/Cincinnati Reds game at PNC Park.
