Very popular section along the first base side, we come to 5-10 Padres games a year and this area always seems to be full of fans I guess because of it's proximity to the infield. In this particular section, row 4 was the first row which I found to be a little odd. The rows go all the way up into the 40s. Anything past row 35 is usually in the shade from the above overhang so those are perfect seats to buy for the scorching hot day games.
You can find tickets for as low as $20 in this section if you know where to look. I've never had a bad experience dealing with a ticket scalper on the street but I always buy online before hand so I can choose where I want to sit. If you buy from the Padres ticket office, they usually tack on fees just like all of the ticket brokers do.

The all you can eat seats in outer right field are a great way to save money if bringing a family but they aren't available for some of the prime games.

I've been to all five MLB ballparks in California and I don't care what Giants fan say nor do I care how many World Series they've one, Petco is the nicest ballpark in California. Not a matter of opinion, it's a fact. You take the ocean away from AT&T Park and it just becomes a regular ballpark.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 115, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Padres game at Petco Park.
