214 had a great view of the infield as well as the outfield. It's on the Toyota Terrace level and is right where the dirt meets the grass into the outfield.
Wish they could have incorporated the Harbor, battleships or Coronado Bridge into the ballpark. Rather, all you can really see are some unimportant high rises. The Western Metal building is really cool though, reminds me of Camden Yards in Baltimore.
The Toyota Terrace has plenty of restaurant and lounge areas for fans to relax in when it's hot outside. There are literally no waits for the restrooms and it's the cleanest area of the stadium. Compliments to the staff as well, they all go out of there way to be kind and help you find your seats when you visit.
Loved that we got free programs, a print edition called the 'Padres Blueprint', it has all of the rosters for the entire home stand usually.

The 'Park at the Park' area is also cool. People are able to picnic out there and see bits and pieces of the game without actually having a ticket. Tony Gwynn's statue is in that same area in the outfield and Park at the Park stays open even when Padres games aren't going from what I understand.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 214, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Padres/San Francisco Giants game at Petco Park.
