Section 310 would be an excellent choice for Padres fans that want to be able to see the entire infield with perfection without spending their life savings on tickets. I've always said this, for the product on the field, Padres tickets are more expensive than what they should be. The Oakland A's have some of the best bargains in Major League Baseball but their ballpark is no where near as good as ours at Petco Park.
310 is on the same of the field as the visitors dugout. I think the padres were playing the St. Louis Cardinals when I sat here, if I remember correctly.
The upper deck is extremely steep but there was plenty of railing to use for safety. I wouldn't recommend you attempting to bring your kids or elderly family members to the upper deck, it's a little rough on the body if you leave your seats often throughout the game.

There are some great concessions outside of this section including Filippi's Pizza and Dippin' Dots. K Street Grill and Friar Franks are the names of the concessions scattered the most throughout the park. You can always get something to eat at one of the many restaurants in the Gas Lamp District before coming to a game; the quality would be much better!

Overall, I enjoyed my time in these seats. Very relaxing but 310 is probably not for everyone.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 310, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Padres game at Petco Park.
