The view and experience for sections 327-333 are pretty much the same. I've been coming to Mariners games since the days of the old Kingdome and the sight lines are great. These sections are full most nights so I wouldn't say that you can buy your ticket up there and sit wherever you want behind home plate. The ushers though friendly are also very thorough. Most sections are numbered 1-25 with maybe 15-20 seats in each row.

You can see bits and pieces of the downtown buildings from 333 as well as space needle in the distance but not when the roof is closed, obviously. One thing I will warn you about is that even when the roof is closed, you can still be rained on when sitting on the upper level which kind of defeats the purpose of even having a roof, I know.

Overall, Safeco Field is a very neat place to watch a baseball game but compared to the rest of the league, I would have to say it's in the middle of the pack among the 30.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 333, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners/Tampa Bay Rays game at Safeco Field.
