I love Busch Stadium and come to many Cardinals games each season. I'm a lifelong fan and still miss the Old Busch Stadium and the days of Mark McGwire, but it was time for an upgrade. The stadium still gets very hot in the summer months but with the outfield open now it does catch a few more breezes.
445 had a good sightline of downtown and the famous Arch beyond the outfield walls. Like I said, I've been here many times in the past and any of the infield sections on the Terrace (441-454) will allow you to see the field well so you can be flexible with which seats you choose. I've never been disappointed and sitting behind homeplate was wonderful!
Busch has the perfect location for a ballpark near downtown bars and eateries and really close to the MetroLink stop. (After the game board the Metrolink at 8th and Pine, less wait).

There are many stair cases that will lead you to the top level but few fans use them. There are also ramps, escalators and elevators for fans to use to access the 400s. Section 445 can be accessed the quickest by entering the main entrance at Gate 2 and taking a right and riding the escalator to the top. Be sure you give yourself enough time to make it through security; Gate 2 seems to be the most popular entrance. The Stan Musial statue is near Gate 3.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 445, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium.
