Not a bad seat at all! This is a huge stadium but few obstructions. Could see the infield really well and the view of the arch and downtown skyline was pretty amazing. Don't forget to check out Ballpark Village before the game begins! Great place to drink before a game.

We sat in row 10 near the top and could still follow the location of the baseball rather well - right above first base and the dugout the Cardinals use. That was the highest I had ever sat for a Cardinals game (vs. the Dodgers on 7/24/2012). Found myself often referring to the two scoreboards in center field which aren't as big as they could be. You should see the scoreboard at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. The only thing I would have done to make our seats better would have been more legroom and make the beer and food hawkers make more frequent trips to the upper level.
The lines at the concessions and restrooms moved rather rapidly. Pay a visit to 'Dizzy's Diner' if you're in the mood for Bratwurst or a Bavarian pretzel.

The Cardinals often have a strong ball club and sell out virtually every game although the attendance may not reflect it some nights, so they don't need giveaways and promotions to draw fans into the park so don't expect a whole lot of bargains when it comes to buying your tickets. You get what you pay for.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 442, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium.
