371 is a good spot to sit for cheap tickets for a playoff game or Opening Day but not someplace I would want to sit for the average weeknight game unless the game really means something. 372 is a better fit because the foul pole will annoy many fans that sit here and I would imagine your view of home plate may be obstructed from some of the seats. We were in row 4 on the aisle and lucked out but felt far away from all of the excitement. Every ballpark has seats similar to these so it's really wasn't that big of a deal. The Cardinals were playing the Cincinnati Reds, a heated rivalry, so even the bleacher seats were going for $50 a ticket. The weekend games are always more packed and often sold out, even when the Cards aren't in first place.
To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 371, here is a Youtube video shot from row 1 during a Cardinals/Texas Rangers game at Busch Stadium.
