Seat view from section 308 at the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls

I've had seats in section 308 for both a Bulls and Blackhawks game in the past. It's much better for hockey because you can see the fast breaks and passing of the puck much better. For basketball, the goal really hinders your view so I likely wouldn't sit here again as good as the atmosphere was when we went.

There are 17 rows in all of the upper deck sections so sit according to where you see fit. None of the seats have drink holders which leads to a lot of beer spills. Outside of these seats was the Ironworks Bar and Grill. Service was slow but they have some great food and the setting is great! The surrounding neighborhood outside of the United Center is nothing like Wrigley's and is actually very desolate. I would get to the arena early when the gates open and eat at either the Ironworks if you have an upper level ticket or the Budweiser Brew Pub on the bottom level.

The concourses on the upper level are a little tighter than elsewhere in the stadium but it wasn't too bad. And if your seats are in the 300s, good luck sneaking into the more expensive seats. The ushers are too strict and the United Center is almost always at 100% capacity. I wouldn't recommend buying any 'Standing Room Only' tickets because they consist of the last row in the upper deck. You can never see much of anything from up there, especially during Bulls games.
