Made the short trip from Portland to the Bay Area to see my Blazers take on the Warriors. I was impressed with the arena and enjoyed being able to see the nearby Oakland Coliseum where the Raiders and A's play their home games.
I wanted the best seats possible for the upper level. With gas and hotel, I couldn't afford to sit on the lower level. 232 had a great view of the court although it's easy to feel a little disconnected from the action when sitting that high. You'll be on the same side of the court as both the Warriors and visiting team's bench which is nice. I would avoid any seat that surpasses row 10 due to the odd shape of the ceiling. It can prevent you from being able to see across the floor into the opposite upper deck even though you're there to watch the action on the court.

Binoculars could be useful but aren't necessary. The lines for bathrooms and concessions were relatively short and for the most part, Warriors fans were very friendly to a visiting NBA patron like myself. I got the sense that not everyone was a die hard but come to games just to socialize and enjoy themselves which is cool. Bay Area residents are definitely laid back although that could be a different story if you walk into the Coliseum for a Raiders game.

232 is one of the best views of the court you will find on the upper level. All that's really included in the ticket price is the view of the court and nothing else. The rows are long and cramped and we had to ask other fans to stand up to let us out of our row. We got stuck with seats in the middle, no fun.
You'll either ride an escalator (preferably) or take the stairs to get to the upper level at the Oracle. You'll definitely find your 'true' Warriors fans up there who will let the refs no how they feel. I heard a plethora of profanity the entire game. The upper levels should probably be avoided if you have kids. Just a word of advice...but these seats themselves will not disappoint.
