I took my son to a Rockets/Jazz game last season. Bought tickets for 424 online and wasn't really willing to spend a whole lot of money since kids often want to leave these games early or can't sit still for the entire game. Only paid maybe $30 for two seats so it's a good bargain, not a ripoff. The view of the court is what you would expect and the seats are at a steep incline. My only complaint is that there were no cup holders. What kind of multi million dollar facility doesn't install cup holders for the true fans?
Navigation around the place was also tricky, finding the escalators is the most difficult part so definitely wear your walking shoes to the game.

Parking can be tough if you don't know your way around downtown Houston which is always growing. Don't park near the arena or pull into the first $15 lot you see because even a little further down will be a $5 lot. I usually park on Mckinney Street near Kinder Lake and just walk over to the arena. There is also plenty to see and do in the surrounding area so you have little incentive on spending your hard earned dollar on any of that overpriced stadium grub.
