Navigation around this stadium is very easy, there was plenty of signage but if you ever have trouble finding your seats, just ask a member of the arena staff for help. They're all very friendly.

We saw the Phoenix Suns game in 2010 (I think they actually came to the AT&T Center a number of times each year). Great atmosphere, small market teams like the Spurs, Kings and Jazz typically have strong followings and strong attendances. Both team benches were across the way which I appreciated. When you sit behind the bench, you can't really see any of the player's faces to know who anyone is.

There are almost two different sections entirely that make up section 121 which can make it hard to find your seat. Rows 20-27 are the seats you want, you don't want the second portion.
The plaza level is great because of the proximity to the concessions/restroom s so you won't miss much of the action if you leave your seats during a timeout on the court.
