To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 426, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Wizards/New York Knicks game at the Verizon Center.

Not a bad view at all. We were about 5 or 6 rows up in a section that only had maybe 15 rows total. Very intimate section with not a whole lot going on. The seats behind the backboard get a terrible reputation and I don't know why. Tickets are cheap but only because the demand is down and the Wizards don't have any big named stars like the Capitals do with Alex Ovechkin.

If you enjoy Dunkin Doughnuts, the Verizon Center has it on the main level. They obviously don't offer much more than sweets but if you want a few cold drinks and good food before or after the game, check out the Capital Brewery. It's a neighborhood staple but definitely prepare for a wait; not sure if they take reservations.

426 is right behind the goal on the upper level. Purchased a partial season ticket package, got a good deal on the plan. Rows are A thru P, view is just as good from any seat. Tickets are very cheap up there- often $20.
Great place to watch a game in the upper level. Not really a bad seat at the Verizon Center.
