To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 420, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Wizards/Atlanta Hawks game at the Verizon Center.

I could see the court fairly well from here. All of the upper level seats are pretty much the same but get better and more pricey the closer you get to center court. I would imagine these seats would be much better for hockey considering how fluid the game is compared to stop and go basketball. Plus hockey is much more fast paced.
