All seats in section 101 sat parallel with the court. Good place to sit regardless of the row.

Awesome seats but they came with a heavy price tag. This is the only way to go if you're watching the Wizards or the Capitals, those upper level seats are just way too steep. All of the seats are colored purple which looks really weird when the arena is emptying out. On most nights, the arena is 60% full and at capacity if the Bulls, Heat or Lakers are in DC that night.
We had row C, seats 5 and 6 which was immediately behind the Wizards bench so you can get a lot of great action photos of the players. We were close enough to hear a lot of what the players were saying (tons of expletitives). They will have the courtside seats blocked off from the regular seats using the boards from the Capitals hockey rink, you will definitely notice it.

Outside of section 101, you'll find a concessions called the 'Power Grill'. I had the bbq chicken tenders and they were good, nothing special but the concessions has a generous selection of items.
If you've never been to the Verizon Center, it's impossible to miss this arena, it's massive and in the heart of Gallery Place and is lit up really well.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 101, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Wizards charity event at the Verizon Center.
