I wouldn't expect too much from these seats. Sure, you'll be inside the stadium watching an NFL game but will feel so far away. You won't be able to make out which players are which and won't be able to get a feel for their size and speed like you get from the bottom level. The fans were very subdued in our section; it's just hard to get excited for the game when your seats are in the upper level corner. Still, you can see the plays develop well from 505 if you're a football fan that's really into the X's and the O's.
Getting to these seats was a lengthy process. There are no escalators at Bank of America Stadium so we had to unfortunately, take a ramp to our seats. It's a long walk but beats climbing steep stairs. Stairs are available too. Getting thru security is also a lengthy process too since there are only three entrances to the stadium. So I would recommend attempting to enter the stadium 35-40 minutes before kickoff just to make sure you make it to your seats in time.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 505, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Panthers/Arizona Cardinals game at Bank of America Stadium.
