Don't shy away from 517 just because it's on the upper level. These seats will surprise you. The best views it had were of the east end zone but you can see the entire field almost equally as well.
Looking at my tickets, I was disappointed to discover that my seats were in the very top row (row 34).
When I arrived at my seats, I learned the true meaning of the cliche "Not a bad seat in the house". The seating was oriented almost straight up instead of further out so that no matter how high we were, it still felt very close to the field.

Our seats had plenty of width, giving our bodies ample room to sit in the seat without squeezing in between the arm rests though I'm sure that's not the case for every fan. On the floor in front of each seat was a cup holder for any drinks you may purchase but it's still possible that they could be kicked and spilled so take a giant gulp at first.

Since Bank of America stadium is on the outskirts of Uptown Charlotte, fans park in parking garages or lots that are reserved for area businesses during the week. Parking prices range from $15 to $50 depending on their proximity to the stadium. The difference in price can be only a block or two in distance so it's typically a good idea to not grab that first $15 lot you drive past.
