Section 542 are awesome seats. Don't let the upper deck fool ya.
We had excellent seats in row 11. We were centered on the 50 yard line. Perfect!
We could see EVERYTHING. Save a little cash, and go with this section if you can grab them. :D

Section 542 had it all. The great view of the field, the view of the Charlotte skyline, die hard fans that were both passionate and knowledgeable about the Panthers and most importantly, the tickets were much more affordable up there than what you're expected to pay on the lower level (ripoffs).

The seats are not padded but are still comfortable. You will be seated for most of the game, the upper level patrons never stand much unless the Panthers enter the red zone or make a sudden impactful play. The only thing to be aware of is that there are 34 rows. I personally wouldn't purchase a seat past row 15. (Sat in row 12).

Making out the players was very challenging. You can read some numbers on jerseys but not all so memorize the roster. On a negative note, you do end up watching a good portion of the game on the video screen and at that point, why not just watch the game at home? Just an observation.

The stadium fare is primarily BBQ. JRR's is the best that the stadium offers in my opinion; give the pulled pork a try. But keep in mind that you'll be paying top dollar and not all stands accept credit card so bring cash. Other than that, this is a very safe, clean NFL stadium. Enjoy!
