To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 137, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Lions/Kansas City Chiefs game at Ford Field.

137 is in the middle of the endzone. I will forewarn you, the endzone sections do get a little belegerent and the fans are loose with their language so it's not the best family environment but that's Detroit sports for you.
But the view of the playing field is spectacular from these seats, love attending Lions games and cheering loud.
If you sit here, the Lions will use the sideline to your right and their opponent will use the sideline to your left. The opponent's sideline can be seen much better from these seats.
You definitely want the first ten rows because sitting too far up won't allow you to see the back part of the end zone. Imagine Calvin Johnson catching a touchdown pass from Stafford but you couldn't see it but you see the crowd cheering. That's not a good feeling.
Have sat all over Ford Field and there are some great seats even on the 3rd level. Just buy your seats according to what your seating preference is and what your budget is, but I was very happy with 137 and would recommend it to all Lions fans coming to Ford Field.
