I took my son to his first NFL game on November 20th, 2011 when the Lions took on the Carolina Panthers. It was a big win for the Lions. I was expecting the atmosphere to be a little more rabid; it had been a few years since I had been to Ford Field.

243 is an excellent seating choice if your vision is halfway decent. Our seats were in the exact middle of the endzone. All along, I had thought these seats were club seats but they're actually normal seats. The club seats have a cushioned, padded leather with extra room for comfort. Our seats in 243 were a hard blue plastic but still extremely comfortable.

Because the field consists of artificial turf and not bermuda grass, it caters more to the high pass offense which the Lions have with Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew. When you watch teams that pass a lot, you want seats in the upper levels and not the lower levels so that you can see all of the plays form on the field. Great seats here.
