Our seats for the Lions vs. Jets game a few weeks ago were in the section 334, and it had a good bird's eye view of everything on the 5/10 yard line of the upper deck. Not bad seats but I've had better for Lions games in the past; it is what it is.
The side screens are extremely useful when it comes to seeing the replays and being relayed information that you probably aren't aware of like how much time is left on the clock and where the ball will be spotted. I love going to venues that have that; certainly makes it easier on the eyes and easier to stay into the game.
You definitely don't get to see the hard hits up close from these seats but you can still hear it. I was surprised with the leg space, you can almost stretch out here like you're relaxing at a Tigers game at Comerica Park which is adjacent to Ford Field, by the way.
The most popular concession seems to be Charlie Sanders BBQ judging from the lines. We had Hungry Howie's Pizza which was good but not worth the outrageous amount they ask Lions fans to pay for a slice of pizza. Skip Hungry Howie's!

Parking is outrageously expensive near Ford Field's vicinity, so I'd recommend finding parking towards Greektown down the block. It won't be super cheap, but at least you won't be paying $40 and the walk won't be brutal. Parking at the Greektown Casino is often complimentary, not sure if they charge for regular season games or not.
