Due to the high demand for playoff tickets for the Cincinnati Bengals game two seasons ago, we opted for the cheap seats because that's all that was in our budget. We've never been season ticket holders but my girlfriend and I usually make it to one or two home games each season. We always buy from Stubhub just because it's safe and easy and we can print our tickets out at home. We paid $400 for two seats in row D and I would buy those seats again if it were for a playoff game but not for a regular season game. Decent view but far from the best seats I've had at Reliant Stadium. The new jumbo trons hadn't been installed at that time yet but the old ones were still pretty good. You can only see the south endzone's jumbotron from 622 but it didn't really matter. One is all you will need for replays and what not.
If you know the roster well, you will be able to tell which players are which down on the field by their numbers. Could see all of the holes on the running plays really well from these seats too. The Texans won big time by three touchdowns and the entire place was electric. We haven't gotten accustomed to playoff football in Houston just yet. Watching the Tennessee Titans go to the Super Bowl back in 2000 was just heartbreaking for the city of Houston because those used to be our guys.


Just so you know, the parking situation at Reliant Stadium needs work and you won't be able to just pull up to a lot and pay in cash. Tailgating is a sport all on it's own in Houston, especially considering all of the variations of BBQing that goes on. There are judges that walk around the parking lots to judge who has the best tailgate before every home game. By far the easiest way to get to the stadium is to ride the Metro rail to the Reliant Park or Fannin South Stop. It only costs $1.25 each leg and it will save you the headache, trust me.
