We attended the Texans vs New England Patriots game last November and bought tickets for section 117 which was located right behind the field goal zone. We had to watch the full game standing up because since the very beginning of the game everybody in this section as well as the adjacent section 116 remained standing and NEVER once sat down. The people in this section were also very rude and disrespectful to myself and a handful of the other Patriots fans in attendance. The good news is that Patriots won the game so we got the last laugh in the end. I wouldn't sit here again as a fan rooting for the opposition. You couldn't pay me to.

Wonderful seats in the "Bullpen" (north end zone). Could see everything clearly. Came to the Texans-Vikings game in December of 2012. We were positioned to the left of the uprights so the field goal posts didn't intrude on our view that much but it was definitely noticeable. End zone seats are cool when long field goals are attempted although the ball doesn't go into the crowd like it used to at the old Astrodome. All of the lower level sections at Reliant were constructed the same and have the same amount of seats. The first row is row A and it goes upward through row Z. After row Z, the rows become double lettered and row JJ is the very last row in each section. We had row cc so we were one of the last few rows in this section which made it difficult to see the back part of the north end zone but luckily, the touchdowns that we scored were on running plays.
Sections 116 and 117 are heralded as the sections with the loudest and proudest Texans fans and I must say, these fans know how to party come time for kickoff.
Lots of great tailgating at Reliant Stadium before Texans games too. A lot of the parking lots are named after Coors Light which I find hilarious. This place is so corporate, they sold the name of the cement. We usually tailgate in the Yellow lot off of Main Street/adjacent to the Methodist Training Center. It's the furthest lot from the stadium so the parking passes are usually a little cheaper but it's a huge lot, one of the bigger ones available. If you're staying at a hotel in downtown Houston and are coming to the game, you should just ride the Metrorail to the Reliant Park/Fannin South stops and walk to the stadium. Easy as could be.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 117, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Texans/Green Bay Packers game at Reliant Stadium.
