101 has some of the best views in the entire stadium, make no doubts about it. We saw the Chiefs play the Bengals last season and the Chiefs lost big time(as usual).
But I was at least happy with where we sat: about 20 rows up which was the middle of the section. There are almost 40 rows total. The closer you sit, the less you will be able to see the field believe it or not. We walked down to take a photo of the Bengals sideline and the players standing on the sideline will actually keep you from seeing part of the field. :-|

All of the seats are colored Tennessee Orange but the sea of red jerseys in the stands won't let you notice the color of the seats. The rows were a little on the narrow side but the fans in our row stood for a good portion of the game so it really didn't factor in.
Tailgating is king at Arrowhead Stadium. With $27 parking, you should plan on tailgating and skipping buying any concession food. That's the route most Chiefs fans seem to go anyway. If you must buy concession food, check out Gates BBQ - it's almost as good as Arthur Bryant's.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 101, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

I sat here last year for a Raiders game (Row 14, seat 9). I have sat all over Arrowhead Stadium and this maybe the best seat in the house. Section sits on the 40/50 yard line. 38 Rows in section 101, the rows are numbered 1-38.
You are also behind the visiting team's bench, very cool if you get one of the first few sections. Very affluent section in the loudest stadium in the NFL.
Be sure you tailgate if you visit Kansas City for a Chiefs game. One of the best tailgates in the NFL. So I hear...Go Chiefs!
