Even though we were sitting about 20 rows up, these were wonderful seats. Sat here two seasons ago while the Redskins were in Miami (our team). We're transplants from Alexandria, VA. I was surprised at how welcoming the Fins' fans were to us. No death threats or anything but we got the occasional tease from the younger male fans. Of course, it didn't hurt that the Dolphins won that day. 416 provided an equal view to the end zone and midfield since it was near the 20 yd. line. Didn't like that the PA system echoed a little too much up there. Also don't enjoy climbing the steep steps to our row but that's part of the upper level experience, right?

Miami has a beautiful climate for football during the winter months but most football purists probably prefer to watch football in the cold weather. Can't blame them but I'm sure the visiting team's players look forward to playing in Miami every season. There isn't much to this stadium. The parking lots that extend for miles create great tailgates but a terrible parking situation after the game. Gates open four hours before the game starts so get there early to get a good spot and relax. The palm trees and a Corona or two will put you in a good mood. If you're not tailgating, check out the "Kickoff" party outside of Gate C where fans can get unlimited food, play games, listen to music, etc. Also a fun experience.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 416, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Dolphins/Houston Texans game at Sun Life Stadium.
