Had the pleasure of sitting here in 249B for the Giants-Broncos game earlier this year. It was the opening home game of the year but turned out to be not that great of an outcome. We were seated just to the side of one of the big jumbo trons in the corner of the stadium but still had an end zone point of view. View was significantly better than what I've seen from the 300 level sections. Good portion of the seats were covered by the top level overhang here providing shade from the sun and protection from the rain. The only obstructions you have to worry about at Metlife are the rails in front of the first rows in some sections. Of course, you won't know until you get there. Other than that, the sight lines are good all over.

A few other tips when visiting Metlife:
-You can bring food from home into the stadium. Put it in a clear plastic bag. The tailgating is such a circus that I try to avoid it.
-Alcohol sales stop at halftime.
-Bud Light Garden outside of stadium has tons of activity going on before the game and usually have cheap beers available for purchase.
-If you purchase a permanent seat license (season tickets), your parking pass for the season will typically be included.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 249B, here is a Youtube video shot from there in an empty Metlife Stadium.
