236 was too high up for my liking. When a passing play took place, the view was great. For running plays, we couldn't see much. Rows 1 through 5 wouldn't have been bad but we were about 12-15 rows up and I just felt too out of the game due to the distance. Another downside was that we could only see the game via the scoreboard in the south endzone. The scoreboard in the north endzone could not be seen since it was below us and I think they're both too small anyway.
Getting to the upper level can be a little confusing since the two sides of upper level seats aren't connected (but will be after the upcoming renovations). If you're sitting in the upper endzones on the North side, it's best to take the North East gate (Darien Street side) and get on the escalator on your right. This is the Headhouse Plaza area where the Eagles pro shop is.
This is a fun stadium and the fans make it that way. Even during the Eagles down years (happens often) fans are still just as interested in the game. There aren't too many better "Sports Cities" than Philly.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 236, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Eagles/Atlanta Falcons game at Lincoln Financial Field.
