To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 117, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Sabres game at the First Niagara Center.

It's not the best video and it doesn't span the entire ice, but it will give you a much better idea what these seats are like than a photo will.

Man, these are excellent seats, the best at the First Niagara Center. Every play is right in front of you, no shifting in your seat, no standing up and down. You don't have to look up to the jumbotron very much at all like you do when you sit in the upper levels.

Took my son to the Sabres-Blues game last season and he really enjoyed sitting here as did I. There are 20 or so rows so I am sure plenty of tickets are available for this section on a nightly basis. Our seats were in row 8. Not too close to the ice, not too far up.
