To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 311, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Blackhawks/Calgary Flames game at the United Center.

The upper level goal sections offer a great view; much better than the sidelines if you ask me because when you're seats are on the sidelines, it's hard to see the puck in the immediate corners.

In section 311, you can follow every play that takes place on the ice. Best of all, these seats are going to be much more affordable than on the first two levels of the United Center. I can afford to see more games sitting in the 300s, especially when I'm able to eat at a nearby restaurant and catch a bus to the game rather than dropping $40 on concessions alone.
