To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 121, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Stars/Vancouver Canucks game at American Airlines Center.

A few friends and I made the trip from St. Louis to Dallas. Quick flight, cheap and easy. We saw our Blues take on the Stars at the American Airlines Center. This place was a huge improvement over the Scottrade Center (home of the Blues) for watching a hockey game.

Our seats in 121 were great. We strategically bought seats facing the Blues attack zone so we could see the offense take aim at the net. The only disadvantage was when the puck was on the other side of the ice. It was then that I realized why seats at center ice are so coveted. We had plenty of leg room in each row although they could have stood to make the seats a little wider. And I'm not an overweight person.

The concourses are huge on all levels with plenty of room to dodge the masses. There are a countless amount of bars around including El Jimador Tequila bar and the Blue Moon Bar. There is also a big Jack Daniels portion which also has a buffet. Something for everybody really.
