The Platinum club is a great place to sit for a Stars or Mavs game but come prepared to shell out some coin to sit here. On average, I would say tickets for section 216 and adjacent sections would cost $100 a piece. It's worth it if you don't like sitting next to a bunch of loud and drunk hockey fans. What you get from the platinum sections is exclusivity. Very much like the first class zone on an airplane. Is it necessary? No. But are these seats worth the money? Yes.

In terms of capacity, American Airlines Center is in the middle of the pack in terms of NHL arenas. It's a great facility with something for every hockey fan. If you're looking for a great atmosphere before the game, check out the Jack Daniels bar. If you're hungry during the game, check out the Dr. Pepper bottling plant on the top level.
