First of all, there is no reason that you should ever drive to the Staples Center and pay the outrageous parking fees that downtown LA charges. The Metro Blue Line is literally one block from the stadium. If you're staying at a distant hotel downtown, call a cab both ways.

These seats are great if you like the rough tough hockey action because there was a player getting slammed up against the glass every trip down the ice. You will get the ultimate NHL experience from the seats in 118. The team benches are just to the left of this section and perhaps best of all, 118 was in the corner of the Kings attack zone so you'll get plenty of face time with the Kings Offense.
There is no reason to spend money on the expensive arena food either, ESPN Zone is directly across the street and will be open both before and after the game. You should maybe only buy one beer.
