336 has the perfect view from nearly center ice. You can see all of the shift changes really well from up there, especially since you're on the side of the arena that's behind the bench. It's going to be one of the most sought after seats in the upper level so be prepared to spend some money on your tickets. It's not just not just any team that you're going to be watching out on the ice. The Habs are competitive year in and year out.

In terms of food before the game, there are a ton of establishments in the surrounding area but I enjoy eating at La Cage aux Sports which is in the arena. You don't need to be bilingual to attend a game here, the introductions and everything are announced in both French and English so it works out. Mostly anywhere you go in the city, everyone can speak both English and French, very similar to Miami, FL where everyone is bilingual as well.
