My husband and I attended our first Grizzlies game since moving into the area vs. the New Orleans Hornets. That was at the beginning of last season, a shortened season due to the lockout. Great experience and a very nice arena for such a small market NBA franchise. We brought the kids and they always seem to want to leave events early since they can't sit still so we saw no need in spending top dollar on lower level seats.

Instead, we paid $100 for four tickets in row C, the third row. Not a bad deal at all plus we were ability to minimize the amount of steps to our seats. All of the fans were very friendly up there and the access to the restrooms is great. They had a lot of fun riding the escalator up to the top. Overall, 221 is a great section for families but sections in the upper level definitely limit your experience at the game. There is nothing like sitting 10 feet from the players and being able to hear their conversations on the court. You just notice more when you sit close and are able to take it all in.
