These were pretty good seats. I'm not too strategic about where I choose to buy my tickets if I can only afford seats on the upper level which usually depends on who the Spurs are playing. If the Spurs are taking on the Bobcats on a Tuesday night, most fans can probably afford the lower level seats. If it's a Saturday night game against Kobe and the Lakers, the lower level seats are all $200+ per seat. Those closest to center court are always going to be the cheapest. 206 wasn't far from the center line so I think most fans will be pretty happy with these seats. The rows are labeled 1 through 23. If you sit in the first ten rows, you'll be close to the exit tunnel and shouldn't have any trouble making out the players. After row 10, the view declines pretty quickly even though this is a pretty small arena.

Even if you'r not a Spurs fan, you'll love the display of their championship trophies in the main concourse area. I don't know how many franchises do this but I would assume not many. They usually stay in a team's museum or Hall of Fame. Parking for Spurs games is going to run you $15 or $20 per car. Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 are in the closest proximity to the arena. Lot 4 is the biggest. There is no light rail to the AT&T Center so you'll either be driving or taking a cab from your hotel in downtown San Antonio.
GO SPURS!

I've sat mid-court before for Spurs games and the view isn't all that different from section 206. You'll still be on the sidelines and not in the corners so you'll be able to see the court rather well. To minimize the stair climbing and have the best line of sight, you'll obviously want to stick close to row 1. There are 23 rows so sit according to your preference.

The atmosphere isn't all that rowdy so if you bring a headset and listen to the broadcast of the game, you'll feel a little more connected and it will be easier to keep up with what's going on. You obviously wouldn't need those things if you have seats on the charter or plaza levels which sit next to the court.
Even though the AT&t Center is ten years old it still has the new shiny feel to it. The staff does a great job of upkeep of the place and navigation is very easy around the two bowls.
