Great stadium, first of all!
Made the trip up from Cincinnati to see the Bengals play the Steelers last December. (Bengals won to go to the playoffs). This was our first trip to Pittsburgh and Heinz Field.

We bought our seats on Stubhub and were seated in the fourth row, row d, the 3rd and 4th seats. Was really windy that day and like Chicago, having the water next to the stadium doesn't make the stadium feel any warmer. All of the seats are colored Steeler yellow which is a nice touch. Couldn't believe that the Steelers are the only NFL franchise that doesn't have cheerleaders. Talk about old school!
Section 225 is considered part of the Middle End zone. The view from the middle is the best of the three dimensions, I would bet. The lower level end zone, you can only see the plays well from the 30 yard line inward. From most seats in 225, you'll be able to see every inch of the field clearly and without obstruction. All of the seats aren't too generous in width but good enough to keep us from moving to other seats.
The giant replay board was in plain view straight ahead and we could see part of the Monongahela River from our seats. The north end zone has a scenic view of the surrounding area.
Pittsburgh is a neat city that has a lot to offer to visitors. Visiting fans shouldn't have too much to worry about, most Steelers fans seemed friendly. Not sure how they treat Browns fans, though? Driving through the Fort Pitt tunnel and then all of a sudden seeing the city is a real treat. But not as good as seeing Cincinnati coming north on I-75 from Kentucky! :P

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 225, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Steelers game at Heinz Field.
