I hadn't been to Madison Square Garden in nearly eight seasons until last year when I came to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I sat in section 109 and I loved these seats.
Had plenty of room to move around and the view was great. What I love about New York is the accessibility from all over New York. It's right in the middle of the happening part of the city; just a few blocks from Time Square. Penn Station sits just underneath the building so if you end up walking more than a block to 'The Garden', you got off at the wrong stop.
Saw the Knicks vs. the New Jersey Nets two season ago from this seat; about ten rows up. The view left much to be desired; the corners in basketball arenas are pretty lame. Let's be honest. But the lower level beats the upper level at the Garden seven days a week. You can still follow all of the action and jumbo tron as well.
